Founded by NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, Big Chicken (located in the heart of Downtown Gilbert) is known for our giant chicken sandwiches, massive chicken tender plates, and over-the-top milkshakes.  
You already know Big Chicken is a great place to visit before (or after) a big game, but did you know we also have tons of other games as well?  From the NBA Jam arcade game to cornhole to other board games, we are now also known for a great place for chess players to meet for a game.  
Starting on June 29th, and going on every Monday from now on, Big Chicken in Downtown Gilbert is hosting Chess Night from 5pm - 7pm.  During this time, we invite chess players of all ages and skill levels to play one another in a competitive, supportive, and fun environment.  
Don't know how to play?  Don't worry.  Novices are welcome, and we can teach you the rules of the game on one of our tournament-style roll-up chess mats.  For those who like to play Blitz Chess or longer timed games, we have chess clocks as well!
To the player who plays at the winner's table for the longest streak of the night, we have prizes to give away to make your victories that much more savory.
So bring your Ruy Lopez, your Four Knights, your Queen's Gambit, and all your other favorite openings, strategies, and tactics for the best Chess Night in the Valley.  Oh yeah, and bring your appetites.  And for the adults, did we mention we have a full bar too?
