Dr. Kathrine Swanson Appointed Interim President
Park University’s Board of Trustees has appointed Kathrine Swanson, Ed.D., to serve as the University’s interim president, effective Wednesday, April 23. Swanson assumes the role as Park’s interim president following the announcement in February of Shane Smeed’s departure as Park’s president as he accepted the presidency at Utah Tech University and will begin his new duties on May 1. 20th Annual Art of Quilting Show
HD SOUTH, Home of the Gilbert Historical Museum, invites you to the 20th Annual “Art of Quilting” Show with a special theme of “Then and Now”. The “Art of Quilting” show will run from February 25 to May 26, 2025. Show admission is included in the price of museum admission. HD SOUTH is located at 10 S. We are pleased to announce our continued partnership with the Power Ranch Community Association! We will be offering our STEAM based afterschool programs for kids (ages 7-16) on an ongoing basis. All classes will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:00pm. Our schedule for 2025 at Power Ranch will be starting on Wednesday, January 22nd, with our YouTube Studios club; and our classic Make-a-Movie/Filmmaking afterschool club starting on Thursday, March 6th.
