The photographs explore how cultural background informs a person’s unique vision, ranging from the Australians’ surprised response to the vast, open, sparsely populated vistas of the arid American Southwest, to the Arizonans’ joyful reaction to the vibrant color and bustling heritage of Australia. Gallery 4 admission is included in the price of Museum admission.

The Book Club will meet twice a month, and the book selection will be discussed over the course of the two sessions. The July book selection is “Before The Coffee Gets Cold” by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. In a small back alley of Tokyo, there is a café that has been serving carefully brewed coffee for more than one hundred years. Local legend says that this shop offers something else besides coffee—the chance to travel back in time. Over the course of one summer, four customers visit the café in the hopes of making that journey. But time travel isn’t so simple, and there are rules that must be followed. Most important, the trip can last only as long as it takes for the coffee to get cold. Heartwarming, wistful, mysterious and delightfully quirky, this internationally bestselling novel explores the age-old question: What would you change if you could travel back in time?
Advanced registration is required and limited to the first 12 registrants. To register and purchase the book, please visit www.literallybookshop.com.
