Leadercast, the leadership development company that propels the growth of leaders worldwide through transformative event and video content, has partnered with the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Foundation to bring Leadercast 2022—The One Thing digital leadership conference to the leaders of the East Valley. The diverse lineup of speakers was carefully selected to speak to the one thing that they believe makes a leader worth following. People will walk away inspired to lead better, equipped with practical guidance that they can put into practice the next day.

Leah Rhineheimer, Assistant City Manager in Gilbert
Proud graduate of Gilbert Leadership Class 25

For the past five years, Leah has had direct oversight of police, fire, public works, and Gilbert’s Native American Management Internship (NAMI) program. On a daily basis, she coaches, collaborates and strategizes directly with the department leaders for each of these teams. Previous experience includes supervision over Gilbert’s award-winning Parks & Recreation team, Safety Division, and Community Resources Division as well as management of the organization's public policy and legislative advocacy efforts.
Recent examples of the type and breadth of duties include leading the initiative to create the Heritage Center in downtown Gilbert, providing guidance and strategic road mapping for the town’s 2018 public safety bond and 2021 transportation infrastructure bond, supporting the police department’s efforts in navigating the extended social and civil unrest during 2020, serving as a key contributor to the organization’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and leading the development of the council’s vision for the newly-established Community Engagement Task Force.
Leah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's in Government and Politics and Master's in Public Administration. She resides in Gilbert with her husband, Chad, and their cat (Lando) and three dogs (Luke, Princess Leia and Mando).
