GEM Talk Event - Creating Your Future: It's All In A Name
Confucius said that “The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper name.”
Naming "things" is a part of general human communication using words and language and today’s conversation is about the power of naming things. I will share a few ways naming things has altered the landscape of my life and transformed my sense of empowerment and identity and ultimately primed me for the freedom I have today.
Every business coaching advice I’ve received has always made a point about naming your target market - about drilling down your market to the smallest detail so you can carve out a niche with that segment. I will share how this type of drilling made a difference in my personal life which created everything I know and have in my professional life.
