Support Our Students' First International Trip to Japan

Hello from Desert Hills High School!

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Dave Miller, and I am the Principal at Desert Hills High School in Gilbert, Arizona. As a long-established school in the East Valley, we are incredibly proud of our staff and students, who work tirelessly to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

This summer, we are thrilled to embark on our school’s first-ever international travel program, taking a group of students to Japan. This unique opportunity will allow our students to broaden their horizons, experience a new culture and deepen their understanding of the world beyond their own community.

However, as a Title 1 school, many of our students face financial barriers that make participating in this life-changing experience difficult. To ensure we can include as many students as possible, we are seeking financial support from generous individuals and organizations like yours. Your contribution would help cover travel expenses, accommodations and other necessary costs, making this trip a reality for students who may not otherwise have the chance to participate.

We would be deeply grateful for any support you can provide, whether through a donation, sponsorship or assistance in spreading the word about our program. In return, we would be happy to recognize your support on our school’s website, social media platforms and other outreach efforts.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students. If you have any questions or would like more details about our travel program, please don’t hesitate to contact me or Eden Ellis, DHHS Office Specialist and Trip Coordinator, at 480-813-1151.

Warm regards,

Dave Miller
