The Discover Gilbert team is promoting summer specials through two digital passports, encouraging locals to make the most of the season. The Cool Scoop digital pass is returning this summer. Consumers can register for this delightful frozen‑treat adventure via their mobile phone, highlighting the coolest spots in town to beat the heat. The Cool Scoop will expand this year to include other options for ‘staying cool’ including listings for indoor attractions and experiences. The Shop Gilbert pass will also be updated to highlight summer specials, programs, and retail-related events from Gilbert businesses. The passes offer ‘check in and win’ prize incentives, encouraging registered users to visit Gilbert businesses, check in on the digital passport while there (via their mobile phone), and earn points. The Discover Gilbert Discovery Centers, located at HD South and Why I Love Where I Live at Epicenter, will feature a Chillin’ in Gilbert summer-themed postcard. Online, Discover Gilbert is offering updated summer itineraries for activities.
