Senior Helpers Raises Over $5,600 for Alzheimer's Association at Inaugural Paws for a Cause: Howl-O-Ween

What a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a great cause!

On October 18, Senior Helpers hosted its inaugural Paws for a Cause: Howl-O-Ween fundraiser at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, raising an incredible $5,625.20 for the Alzheimer's Association!

The family-friendly event brought together local businesses, families, and their four-legged friends for a morning filled with Halloween fun, including a dog costume contest with three $200 cash prizes, a trick-or-treat trail, children's activities, food vendors, and exciting raffle prizes.

As a local, veteran-owned home care company, supporting families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia is especially meaningful to us. We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and local businesses who generously contributed through sponsorships, in-kind donations, raffle prizes, and their time.

We would also like to extend a special thank-you to the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce for helping us spread the word and supporting our efforts to bring the community together for such an important cause!

We're excited to make Paws for a Cause: Howl-O-Ween an annual tradition and hope even more families and businesses will join us next year as we continue making a difference, one paw at a time!
