How many years have you been in business?
With over three decades of corporate experience, I transitioned into entrepreneurship in 2022, after retiring the previous year. This journey has been incredibly fulfilling, and I am thrilled to be at the helm of my own venture.

Pillar Small Business Solutions offers fractional C-level executive services for small business owners. These services include stepping in as a part-time CEO, CFO, or COO, and giving expert advice. We start with a phone call to understand your business, then move to learning more about your needs and making a plan. This leads to a custom guide designed to help your business grow. Our focus is on business operations, finances, and development, leading businesses to make more profit. Our way of doing things aims to help business owners handle the tricky parts of running a business, and reach the growth and smooth operation they want, all while keeping trust, integrity, and respect at the heart of our work.

What motivates you professionally?
My professional drive is fueled by a passion for service. I find great satisfaction in helping others overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?
On a personal level, my greatest accomplishment is my 30-year marriage to my wonderful wife Cheryl and being a father to our four incredible children. They are the cornerstone of my life.

Who do you look up to or admire?
From childhood, Roger Staubach has been my hero, embodying the values of God, family, country, and of course, the Dallas Cowboys. In the professional arena, Stuart Schuette, CEO of American Tire Distributors, has been an unparalleled mentor, teaching me invaluable lessons in leadership.

When you’re not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time?
I like to keep it simple outside work - you'll find me cycling around town or volunteering at my church. These activities are the perfect counterbalance to my professional life.
