Meet Rebekah Kirby of Topgolf Gilbert

Rebekah Kirby, Sales Account Manager
Topgolf Gilbert

How many years have you been in business? 9 years.

What product or service do you offer?
So, what is Topgolf? In short, we’re a sports entertainment complex that features an inclusive, high-tech golf game that everyone can enjoy, paired with an outstanding food and beverage menu, climate-controlled hitting bays and music. Every Topgolf has an energetic hum that you can feel right when you walk through the door.

What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?
Topgolf is not just Golf. It is a fun environment to connect with others and get out swinging. We’ve got a bunch of stuff that makes us golf: clubs, balls, tees, turf, a ball-picker-upper-cart thing, etc. We also have a whole bunch of stuff that’s not golf: loud music, giant targets, giant TVs, and a hand-crafted food & beverage menu. Put all these things under one roof, and you’ve got yourself a good time.

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?
“From the process of planning the event, to the staff who assisted us the day of, the experience was great!... All of the staff were wonderful to work with and we appreciate the atmosphere and the opportunity to get away from the office and regroup on strategies! Going forward, as I am now covering events for the leadership team, Top Golf will be my first choice!” – Jennifer T.

How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?
Building connections and celebrating the growth in our community.

What motivates you professionally?
The most rewarding part of my job is working with clients to create their perfect vision from start to finish.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?
My greatest success is the success I accomplished at a young age. I made Deans list in college for 4 years. I worked with many internships throughout my college career. Once out of college I was a corporate trainer for an entertainment venue. I opened 4 new venues and was the Sales Manager for a new venue by the time I was 22.

Who do you look up to or admire?
My first Sales Manager and mentor is the person I admire the most. She was strong and completed her job with grace. She took on challenges and made sure to take care of her people. She did not care if you were a dishwasher or the CEO, she treated all with respect and would jump in whenever someone needed help. She was the person that got me where I am today and was the one to get my jumpstart in my career at a young age.

When you’re not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time?
I love the Agritopia area in Gilbert. From the Holiday Lights to the Gluten Free Scones at the Coffee shop. Even driving by on my way to work and seeing the green trees changing in fall, the blooming flowers in the spring and fresh fruit in the summer!
