Meet Nicole Fonovich of Nicole Anne Yoga and Holistic Wellness

Nicole Fonovich, M.Ed. / President
Nicole Anne Yoga & Holistic Wellness

How many years have you been in business? 7 years

What product or service do you offer?
We offer over 40 different holistic wellness services to help with Mind, Body and Spirit. Our goal is to provide efficient, impactful, and empowering services to all whom are in need.  Most importantly, we offer a personalized consultation on what holistic solutions are available for you!

What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?
We are not a brick or mortar company. We offer services right at the doorsteps or virtually to clients. With over 90 different holistic Practitioners specializing in unique areas, this helps us stand out as we are able to reach the demand of clients efficiently and effectively.  For in-person events, we are able to accommodate groups of up to 100 and travel all across the Valley. We're honored to have won “Best of the Desert“ three years straight, we were recently awarded “Best Holistic Wellness & Fitness Practice 2024 - Arizona”, and we were lucky enough to be contacted and featured by Forbes Magazine last month!

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?
We are so grateful for feedback from our clients like these: “Nicole Anne Yoga and her team have been fantastic partners for us at Classic Hotels. We have provided multiple events for corporate groups and associations, including various styles of yoga, sound meditation and holistic nutrition. Our groups include sessions from 10 to 100 attendees. Her certified instructors have received rave reviews from our guests for their warm healing instruction. I have found her team to be professional and reliable as well as willing to go the extra mile for our guests. I look forward to every opportunity we get to work with Nicole and her team” Dale Hahne, Director of Destinations Services, Classic Hotels

How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?
I have met so many wonderful people through the Gilbert Chamber, many of whom I can now call friends. I have been able to utilize my membership to have an ongoing Midday Community Monthly Meditation from 12-1pm at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce building, which takes place the first Monday of every month (with the exception of May – which will be held on 5/7/24 instead). Additionally, being in the Chamber has provided me unlimited and priceless opportunity after opportunity. This has ranged from public speaking events all the way to invitations, such as being invited to be a Tourism Ambassador.

What motivates you professionally?
I was not always this motivated or driven. I have experienced 14 surgeries. 7 of those surgeries were back related. I had to overcome a lot to get here, the one thing that drives me is that when I was down and out it was through holistic wellness that I found a sense of hope and purpose. This drives me daily to provide all that I can for those I am able to reach within my business.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?
Currently, I have been able to maintain a business with over 90 different holistic practitioners, providing 40 different services throughout all of Arizona and virtually around the United States. We have contracts with Airbnb managements, Hotels, schools, behavioral health centers, first responders and it continues to grow. I am so grateful to see such awesome opportunities around me. It is through these opportunities that I have been able to see great success.

Who do you look up to or admire?
My father built a business from the ground up that impacted the way that they teach heating and cooling. Watching him throughout my life really shaped the way that I see the world and has been a source of inspiration to reach for the stars, thinking bigger and bigger.

When you're not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time?
When I’m not working, I can be found trying out new places to eat, traveling the world or gathering with groups of friends! It is never a dull moment in my life. I spend a lot of time working towards managing my time and finding a balance with the work demand I have.
