Meet Marguerite Almario of Kiln

Marguerite Almario, Member Success Manager
Kiln

How many years have you been in business? 5 years.

What product or service do you offer?
Kiln is a collection of boutique flex-office communities, each hand-crafted and programmed to elevate lifestyle and performance. Month-to-month memberships are available to meet the demands of creatives, startups, and enterprise teams.

What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?
Our life's work is focused on building enriching environments and communities to improve individual potential. At the heart of each of our communities is hospitality. Facilitated by our community teams, our members are able to take advantage of podcast studios, refresh rooms, yoga and mindfulness sessions, private workout pods, morning and afternoon snacks, self-serve beverage stations, meeting rooms, phone booths, atrium space, theater space, reception services, mail services, and much more.

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?
The most heartwarming feedback we've received about Kiln extends beyond the exceptional space itself. During my recent visit to Kiln HQ in Utah, I discovered a consistent theme of praise — our people. Members cherish the space, but it's the extraordinary Kiln team that keeps them returning. The genuine connections and unique teams fostered at Kiln are the real stars, making the environment truly special. It reinforces our belief that when people shine, the space shines. This is the essence we're excited to bring to Gilbert, where we aim to replicate this one-of-a-kind atmosphere and create a community that thrives on collaboration, support, and shared success.

How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?
As a proud member of the Gilbert Chamber, Kiln is energized by the vibrant community and endless opportunities it brings to our new co-working space. The Chamber's support has been instrumental in establishing meaningful connections, fostering collaboration, and navigating the local business landscape. Through dynamic events and resources, we've gained visibility, forged valuable partnerships, and contributed to Gilbert's thriving entrepreneurial spirit. The Gilbert Chamber is more than a network; it's a catalyst for our success, propelling us to new heights in this exciting chapter for our business. Grateful to be part of a community that champions innovation and growth!

What motivates you professionally?
What drives me professionally is my passion for cultivating unique and impactful experiences. Working in a co-working space allows me to thrive amidst diverse individuals, fostering a dynamic environment where creativity and collaboration flourish. The joy of connecting with people, creating meaningful interactions, and witnessing life's special moments fuels my enthusiasm. Witnessing the transformative power of shared spaces and the positive impact on individuals and businesses is not just a job—it's a fulfilling journey. Every day brings the opportunity to inspire, support, and be part of a community that values innovation and connection, making my professional journey truly rewarding.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?
Being able to make every interaction, no matter how big or small, feel special.

Who do you look up to or admire?
I draw inspiration from my mother, a beacon of strength and compassion. Her unwavering tenacity in adversity, coupled with a selfless nature, exemplifies the epitome of resilience. She navigates life with grace, showcasing thoughtfulness and care in every action. Her ability to put others before herself is a testament to love's transformative power. In both personal and professional pursuits, I strive to emulate her profound values, learning that success is not only about achievements but also about uplifting those around you. My mother's radiant spirit guides my path, a constant reminder of the impact love and kindness can have both personally and professionally.

When you’re not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time?
My partner and I love getting lunch at the Culinary Dropout, spending our Saturday mornings at the Gilbert Farmer's Market, or having a date night at the White Rabbit.
