Meet Heather Parker of The Parker Law Office, LLC
Heather L. Parker, Attorney at Law
The Parker Law Office, LLC
What product or service do you offer?
We assist families and business owners in creating their estate plans – wills, trusts, etc. to set the legal pathway in place to be sure the right people are able to manage their assets for them, either at their death or at a time they cannot manage assets for themselves.
What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?
We dedicate ourselves to educating our clients – most people have not created estate plans before, and making sure the process is presented in a way that clients understand how their choices in planning affect them, as well as their loved ones is so very important. Our team works tirelessly to create tools to assist clients in their planning, and to help them ensure it will function when they need it to.
What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?
Oddly enough that we are not like most lawyers!! A recent review left by a wonderful client made our day “What a pleasure to have been referred to Parker Law. Heather and the staff were fantastic to work with and guided me through the process of setting up my Will and Trust. I had a ton of questions going into this and all of them were answered over the course of completion. I have a peace of mind and comfort knowing that when it’s time for me to go, that everything is in place to make things as easy as possible for my family. I am a raving fan for life and your search is over for all of your family’s law needs.”
What Motivates you professionally?
The desire to truly help people plan for a time in their lives that none of us wants to think about, and to help provide them the peace of knowing that all they have worked for in their lives is going to be able to get to those they love the most, in the way they wish. Knowing that we have the legal expertise to help make sure that happens, and watching families seek from us and receive the education they need to make those choices, leading to that “light bulb moment” when they truly understand how the law works in this situation, and knowing they are empowered to make decisions for their families.
What do you consider to be your greatest success?
Our greatest success is the trust our clients and other professionals in the community have in us that they show by referring their family and friends to us, to assist during those crisis situations, and knowing that we will care for them as we would our own family – means everything to us. It is what has allowed for the growth of the firm in such a huge way and what we consider the best measure of our success.
Who do you look up to or admire?
My mother had very little post-high school education when she immigrated to this country, and upon a major life change, found herself a single parent, put herself through school, while working full-time, raising my younger sister and I, and starting her own business. She built with so much hard work, what she wanted, at a time in her life when it would have been easy to give up – she gave us in incredible example of a strong female business woman, and now my sister and I both own successful businesses – she gave us that inspiration.
When you're not working where, in Gilbert, do you spend your time?
My family and I like to visit lots of the local restaurants and shops – the San Tan Mall area is one of our favorites, as well as enjoy the miles of walking paths in our neighborhood in Power Ranch.
