How many years have you been in business?
The Company Started in 1946; Debbie has been with them for 8+ years

What product or service do you offer?
We sell custom made interior window treatments. Drapery, roman shades, roller/solar shades, woven wood shades, wood blinds, etc. We have our own professional measure and installation professionals, as well as our in-showroom Design Consultants.
 
What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?
The company is 3rd generation family run, and we have 150 showrooms throughout the United States! We have our own workroom where our products are made, not coming from overseas! Turn around time is 4 weeks from date of order to date of installation. Our motto is "Custom Made Simple"

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?
Our customer loves that everything is custom made in the United States, and that we have a quick delivery time for custom made! Since we do everything in-house, no third party, everything is very streamlined. The most common comment by a customer "you make this so easy" ... as a Design Consultant I counsel and guide the customer through the process.
 
How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?
We are new to the Gilbert Chamber, and anxious to become involved. I've belonged to another Chamber in another state and found it very advantageous & valuable.
 
What Motivates you professionally?
I love the design aspect - helping with color and the best options for the customer. Most customers don't know where to start, that is why when they come into the showroom, they get a hands-on educational experience, plus can take home swatches to view in their homes. If needed, I will do a home consultation or a virtual consultation.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?
Working with Interior Designers - it's my job to make them look good to their client, and to educate them. It's great team-work!
 
Who do you look up to or admire?
Shea Magee, Interior Designer; Parents, they were both entrepreneurs; Teachers (mine, as well as those out there today).

When you're not working where, in Gilbert, do you spend your time?
Mostly on the golf courses!!! And, with my grandson at all of the beautiful parks! Harkins Theatre! Gravity Coffee! Just to name a few!
