Join Gilbert’s Community-Wide Food Drive: Gilbert Feeding Families
Gilbert is coming together with the Town and For Our Town Gilbert to support local food pantries and help families in need—and we want YOU to be part of it!
Registration is now open through January 16th for those that want to participate in this impactful effort.
The food drive officially kicks off on February 9th, and together we’ll collect food and raise funds to fight hunger in our community.
How You Can Get Involved:
- Businesses:
- Host a collection site at your location
- Boxes or bins will bedropped off & picked up from your location
- Restaurants:
- Commit to a percentage of all customer sales being donated to the food drive effort
- Choose to donate from sales on Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday
- Restaurants signed up by January 1st will be promoted in the January issue of City Lifestyle
- The restaurant that collects the most funds will receive an editorial feature in an upcoming Gilbert City Lifestyle magazine (Value $20K!).
- Every $1 raised and donated by restaurants can help provide 5 nutritious meals to feed children, seniors, and families in need in Gilbert.
- Spread the word on social media and in your networks
