Gilbert residents have their favorites — from the places they grab a bite to the businesses they trust when they need a job done.

Now is the chance to make those opinions count.

Voting is underway in the Gilbert Independent’s Gilbert Favorites, giving readers an opportunity to recognize the local businesses, restaurants, services and other community standouts they believe deserve some extra attention.

The readers’ choice contest celebrates the people and places that help make Gilbert unique. Residents can browse the categories, find their favorites and cast their votes online through Oct. 31.

It’s also a chance to discover some businesses and services that might be worth checking out for the first time.

Winners will earn bragging rights as Gilbert Favorites based on readers’ votes.

To participate, visit the Gilbert Favorites voting page and make your selections.

So, Gilbert: What are your favorites? Voting continues through Oct. 31.
