What makes your business different, competitive, or unique? We are one of, if not the only American owned nail salon in Gilbert. This aspect creates a unique opportunity to bridge the cultural gap between our amazing customers and our phenomenal team of nail technicians. Our team diversity combined with our best in industry talent creates a one-of-a-kind customer experience. More than just a nail salon, we’re members of our Gilbert community and our purpose is to give every client the best experience of their week.

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business? We’ve been fortunate enough to hear from many clients first-hand that our nail salon is the most well run they’ve ever experienced. In fact, one of our newest clients wrote in a recent Google review, “Apple Nailed It is truly unmatched! I’ve tried 15+ salons and they are the best! Clean facility with obvious sanitary procedures for peace of mind, that has been hard to find! 6/5 stars if I could”. Reviews like these aren’t only flattering, but they really motivate us to bring our best selves to work every single day.

How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber? In a word? Connection. Gilbert Chamber has provided a platform we can use to spread the word on the work we do. We’re hopeful our partnership will continue fostering connection throughout Gilbert, creating a springboard for broadening our reach within the Gilbert community we love to serve.

What motivates you professionally? Fear of failure has always pushed me towards greater achievements. I'm not sure whether it's a healthy motive, and you could say I’m a bit hard on myself (maybe overly competitive at times as well), but at the end of the day, I really am just striving to be the best version of myself. One thing’s for sure. I don’t want to take my gifts/talents for granted, and if I can use them to help make someone else’s life a little better, then I consider it a win.

What do you consider to be your greatest success? I’d like to say my greatest success has nothing to do with school accolades, athletic feats, or career achievements. Because in the end, all those things fade away. I take much more pride in my faith and the relationships I invest in. I don’t always get it right, but I’m always learning and trying to improve as a person, so that I can live well, love better, and share Jesus.

Who do you look up to or admire? Might be a somewhat cliche answer, but I look up to my parents. With odds as uncharacteristically stacked against them as they were, it amazes me that my siblings and I didn’t just end up being another statistic. By God’s grace, and through firsthand examples of enduring and overcoming adversity, we grew up to become the young adults my parents had dreamed they would raise.

When you're not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time? I wish I could say I was more adventurous, but I have a special affinity for Postino in downtown Gilbert because that was the restaurant I had my first date with my now wife. Call me sentimental, but I cherish those milestone moments in life and going back to them feels like home. After dinner and not before I promise my wife that I’ll spend some extra time in the gym that week, I also like to run across the street to Topo for a Prickly Pear ice cream fix.
