Andria May Photography Launches ''Simply Me,'' a Limited Black & White Portrait Experience for Gilbert Children

GILBERT, Ariz. — Andria May Photography, a boutique portrait studio serving Gilbert and the Phoenix East Valley for more than 17 years, has launched a new limited portrait experience called Simply Me.

The black-and-white sessions are designed for children roughly ages 2 to 12 and focus on capturing personality rather than props, matching outfits, or posed smiles. Each session is delivered as finished, ready-to-display artwork rather than digital files alone, reflecting the studio's boutique, print-first approach to portraiture.

Sessions are limited and offered by application rather than standard booking. Families interested in participating are asked to submit a short form, after which Meixner personally follows up to confirm fit and availability.

"Childhood changes fast, and it changes quietly," said Andria Meixner, owner of Andria May Photography. "Simply Me exists so families don't reach the other side of this season wishing they had slowed down and captured it."

One image selected from this year's Simply Me sessions will represent Andria May Photography at a national art show in Springfield, Illinois this fall, hosted by the Photography Business Institute.

Simply Me sessions are currently open for application through August 30, 2026. More information is available at https://simplyme.andriamay.com/
