Workshop: Social Media for Real People (Yes, Even You) (CATALYST)
Do you love social media? That’s great—because I didn’t. Not at first. But working with small business owners opened my eyes to what social media really is: one of the most powerful, cost-effective, and authentic tools for telling your story and building your brand. Whether you're trying to grow your business, connect with your community, or just figure out what a hashtag is actually for, this workshop is for you.
We’ll cover the basics—how to post on different platforms, the best times to post, how to recycle content like a pro, and how to use keywords and hashtags that actually work. We’ll also explore how to leverage AI tools to simplify content creation, manage your time more efficiently, and build a system that helps you show up on social media every day—without it taking over your life.
But let’s be clear—this isn’t just a sit-back-and-take-notes presentation. Bring your questions, your content ideas, your laptop, your phone (yes, Androids and iPhones are welcome), and maybe even an extra charger. We’re diving in and getting hands-on.
Whether you're tech-savvy or still figuring it out, this workshop is designed for real people from all walks of life. You’ll walk away with actionable strategies, practical tools, and the confidence to finally make social media work for you—not the other way around.
