Empowered Women Empower Women:
Creating Positive Workplaces & Thriving Communities

The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Women Empowered Committee is proud to host this year’s philanthropic luncheon at the Barn at Power Ranch on Tuesday, May 23rd from 11am - 1pm featuring dynamic guest speakers, power house networking opportunities, a raffle and auction with proceeds providing scholarships for female participants of Gilbert Leadership, and a beautiful brunch spread courtesy of our signature sponsors Mercedes Benz of Gilbert & Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

This year’s theme, Empowered Women Empower Women: Creating Positive Workplaces & Thriving Communities, focuses on the importance of building strong community relationships, creating healthy workplaces for women, and manifesting opportunities to thrive and will feature a panel on promoting positive and empowered work and community environments for women.

This event sells out  every year and with the speaker lineup we’ve assembled, we know that this year will be no exception. Reserve your space early and get priority access to our auction item list prior to them going live. We are currently seeking donations for gift baskets, spa services and more with all proceeds from the auction going to support new applicants for Gilbert Leadership Class 32.

This event will also mark the transition from outgoing Chair Mindy Jones, Owner of the Amy Jones Group and Founder of Community on Purpose to incoming chair Dallas Sloan, owner of Colair Beauty Lounge and Med-Spa who will be representing our Non-profit Spotlight, Compassion Alliance, and their mission to support first responders on their journey to achieving optimal mental health. In line with Gilbert Leadership Class 31’s project focused on mental health and suicide prevention awareness, the 2023 Philanthropic Luncheon will highlight health in the workplace and the community.

About Our Speakers:

Keynote Speaker:

Jamie Ihms
Founder and CEO
Heirloom Company Workspace

Taking working parents from overwhelmed to Optimized. With experience in the Event Industry, and Mentorship and Leadership, Jamie, a multi-passionate entrepreneur, is helping people like you build their legacy.  After 12 years of building a successful wedding planning agency, Jamie realized she had fallen in love with business itself and created a space where she could actualize her dream of developing a legacy in a career at the same time as a legacy at home, and help others do the same. Through entrepreneurial mentorship and her five year old family-friendly shared office, Heirloom Company Workspace, Jamie is redefining work-life balance. Jamie practices what she preaches every day as she homeschools her 3 kids, runs her own business, and volunteers in the community, while still finding time for backpacking, creating art, and enjoying a fine whiskey.
