Our guest speaker for this month is Dr. Shirley-Ann Behravesh, a Senior Sustainability Scientist and Lecturer in the School of Sustainability at ASU.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Shirley-Ann Behravesh is a Senior Sustainability Scientist and Lecturer in the School of Sustainability at ASU. Her area of expertise is Corporate Sustainability, more specifically: sustainable business practices, innovation for sustainability, and sustainable enterprise models. She also teaches and does research on sustainable cities, biomimicry and sustainable supply chains.  Dr. Behravesh has worked in the field of sustainability for over 10 years including working as a Project Manager with the Cambridgeshire County Council in the UK,  with European partners on projects spanning the fields of sustainable transportation, construction and renewable energy technologies. She has worked on corporate sustainability, process improvement and supply chain strategies with several non-profits, government agencies and businesses of all sizes in the United States and the United Kingdom. Dr. Behravesh received her PhD in Sustainability from ASU; she has a Master?s in Manufacturing Engineering & Management from the University of Cambridge; and a Bachelor?s degree in Management and Finance from the University of the West Indies.
