The Gilbert Young Professionals (GYP) program is a dynamic network of emerging leaders and rising professionals committed to growing their careers, expanding their influence, and making meaningful connections. Through educational workshops, social events, and community volunteering, GYP offers opportunities to connect with peers and community leaders, develop leadership skills, and make a lasting impact in the Gilbert community.
Join Gilbert Young Professionals (GYP) for an afternoon filled with purpose, connection, and community impact at Page Commons! This hands-on volunteer experience brings together emerging leaders who want to give back while building meaningful relationships.
Volunteers will break into small groups to support local seniors in a variety of ways—from helping with light outdoor clean-up and organizing unwanted items to spending quality time together through games and basic technology assistance. Midway through the event, groups will rotate so everyone has the chance to serve, connect, and engage.
We’ll also be hosting a shelf-stable food drive to support the Page Commons community. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations to drop off at check-in.
Important Note: All attendees must park on the street. Photos and videos may be taken of attendees only—no photos or videos of residents are permitted.
To wrap up the day, GYP committee members will invite attendees to continue the conversation and networking at an optional, informal happy hour nearby.
Come ready to lend a hand, make a difference, and connect with fellow young professionals who care about our community—we can’t wait to serve alongside you!
