Chinese Auction Benefit Dinner

Join us for the third annual Chinese Auction Benefit Dinner! This special event will feature more than 100 raffle items as we raise funds with a lively and fast-paced Chinese auction benefiting the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce. 

How Does A Chinese Auction Work?
A Chinese Auction is a fast-paced quarter auction where attendees can bid on gift baskets and other items for only a quarter. Attendees receive a list of the prizes and a numbered paddle. The auctioneer will start by announcing the first item on the list. If an attendee is interested in bidding on that item, they toss a quarter into a bucket located in the center of their table and raise their paddle into the air. The auctioneer will begin calling out the numbers being held in the air; if the number is called, the paddle must be lowered. A volunteer who will be unable to see or hear the crowd will hit a gong after a few moments. The last number called out before the gong was hit will win that prize.

Certificate must be presented at time of check-in. 
• Phoenix Escape Room - Gilbert - One voucher good for 4 entries and another voucher good for 6 entries to Phoenix Escape Room ? Gilbert.  While it looks like an ordinary room, it?s actually a puzzle. Are you up for the challenge?
• Superstition Springs Golf Club - Complimentary foursome of golf; valid anytime Monday - Thursday or after Noon Friday - Sunday. 
• ​School of Rock - A two-hour rock and roll party good for up to 12 people. Ages 7 to 100 - not valid for kids under 7 years old. It's a chance to hit the stage and play in a band, no experience needed!
• Team AFTERBURN - Three certificates, each good for a one-month membership to Team Afterburn with access six days each week, valid for anyone 12 years and older. Cannot be combined or redeemed for cash.
