What is A Civic Event?
Communities need, more than ever, the space to grow together in productive, meaningful ways. At the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Foundation, we host a gathering that we call ‘A Civic Event’ that brings together various members of the community to experience art, music, food, poetry, a relevant civic message, and structured, impactful dialogue. Each event is a little unique as some of the elements change with the venue, but participants leave feeling engaged and empowered. We create space to share new perspectives that encourage our community to find ways of connecting intentionally with each other.
