2024 Business & Education Summit
Join us for the 2024 Business & Education Summit
On February 23, 2024, at 7:30AM the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Foundation will hold the 2024 Business and Education Summit featuring “A Day in the Life” narratives of a Gilbert student, educator, and business. This free event is coordinated by the Foundation’s Business and Education committee. The intention of this year’s Summit is to challenge the assumptions we might have about students, educators, and business owners then discuss ways of both understanding and collaborating with each other to improve the state of our workforce. Attendees will include educators, business owners, and government representatives.
Attendees will be gathered with various industry professionals and in addition to networking, this Summit will provide space and time for strategizing on how to meet our workforce needs. After viewing the short videos and contemplating the different narratives, attendees will dialogue about their assumptions, expectations, and insights. Attendees will then discuss strategies to deliver the skill sets employers are looking for in today’s market and what they anticipate in future markets, ultimately developing a roadmap or checklist for their potential workforce.
Hosted by ASU in the Cooley Ballroom of the Polytechnic Campus, this Summit is sponsored by Landings Credit Union and Cigna as the title sponsors, in addition to a key sponsorship from ASU, as well as sponsorships from Park University and Gravity Coffee Company.
We anticipate a terrific turnout for this event and look forward to seeing you there. Attendees will get to contribute firsthand to a dynamic and lively conversation regarding our workforce here in the east valley.
Breakfast will be served.
