What product or service do you offer? * We help our clients enhance their quality of life by getting their entire financial house in order and keeping it that way. We offer discipline through comprehensive financial strategies to target the highest probability of success in reaching your financial goals so you can focus on what’s important to you. As your life and situation change, we incorporate those changes, plus changes in things like tax law, into an updated plan so this is dynamic and not static. We take complexities and put together all the puzzle pieces into a simplistic and understandable outcome.
What makes your business different, competitive, or unique? * We are a woman-owned company that works with a variety of clients on what they value the most and give step by step action plans so each client is working toward their own goals. Since we are a values-based company we include what you value into your plan and it's not just about numbers. Julie focuses on working with divorcees while I work with growing families.
How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber? * Making great connections through the Chamber and interacting with other business leaders in a local capacity.
What is your name and title? * Kim Morton | Senior Wealth Advisor
What motivates you professionally? * I love helping families build a solid financial future. I love what I do because I get to work with clients on their individual financial puzzles, to educate them on financial matters, and sometimes focus on things that clients wouldn't want to think about that way their time is free to spend with their families and doing what they love. My kids are the driving factor in how I work with clients because I want them to see how much I love working with people and being a mom at the same time.
What do you consider to be your greatest success? * My greatest success is my family and getting to work while raising kids.
Who do you look up to or admire? * There are a lot of people. My parents, Bill Gates, The Obamas, Jimmy Carter, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr., Albert Einstein, Nelson Mandela, Marie Curie.
When you're not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time? * At my kid's school, at the parks, and at sporting events - kid's basketball, baseball, karate, etc. I like to go to family-owned restaurants and activity areas that have a family feel.
