What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?

We provide all of our students with:

- A fun and creative learning experience
- An effective STEAM based curriculum
- Instruction, materials, and information that will help them develop their creative and artistic skills
- Positive reinforcement to promote confidence and growth
- A teamwork environment, so they can continue to enhance their social skills

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?

That our Make-a-Movie/Filmmaking program helped her son come out of his shell, find something that he is passionate about, and find his voice.

How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?

The networking opportunities, and learning from my fellow business owners (from the Gilbert Chamber) have been invaluable. The Gilbert Chamber has afforded me numerous training opportunities, in both personal and professional development. The chamber connections, affiliations, and sponsorships have also provided me with ways to market and maximize my business, e.g. being a local business owner guest on the Arizona Daily Mix (AZTV 7) morning show with Brad Perry.

What motivates you professionally?

I spent over thirty (30) years working for global supply chain organizations. My professional positions included Operations, Materials & Logistics, and Human Resources leadership roles; with long periods in both the automotive and aerospace industries. After a lot of prayer and preparation, I was given the opportunity to transition to becoming a full-time entrepreneur in 2020. I have long known that I am very passionate about great movies, impactful television programs, and filmmaking in general. I am now blessed to be working in the film industry; and have found great joy and reward from helping young children identify and develop their artistic and creative gifts.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?

Raising all of my children to be healthy, happy, and productive adults that have found their life and career paths.

Who do you look up to or admire?

As a believer, Jesus Christ is the head of my life, and the model that I follow. I am grateful for all of the love, support, and sacrifices from both of my parents. I have also been very fortunate to have a number of mentors that have poured into me over the years, both personally and professionally.

When you're not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time?

My home church, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, is based in Phoenix, AZ. However, for over six (6) years we had an extended campus and service at Campo Verde High School. Therefore my weekly worship service was here in the city. We still do Life Groups and outreach in Gilbert. I am a long time fan of great movies, so, I spend a lot of time at my local Harkins theaters. I love the outdoors, so when the weather is nice, I walk and ride my bike at Discovery Park. I am also a huge proponent of supporting local businesses; so, most of my shopping (clothes, household items, groceries etc.) and dining out is done in Gilbert.
