Meet James Moncol of Greenlink Human Capital Management
Greenlink Human Capital Management
What is your name?
Time in business:
What product or service do you offer?
Greenlink's core focus is to help people reach their full potential by delivering exceptional employee experiences. We do this by partnering with small and medium sized businesses to tailor solutions that improve all aspects of workforce management. We provide technology and advisory services for hiring, onboarding and training employees as well as solutions for payroll, benefits administration, performance management, predictive people analytics and more. Our solutions help businesses to build a stronger company culture and employer brand.
What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?
We are a boutique provider of HR services and we partner very closely with our clients to customize unique solutions. In our industry, there are many big box companies that pair technology with a call center for support. We go beyond those offerings by creating a direct relationship with our client and their designated account manager and we customize our solutions offering to directly address the unique needs of our clients. In doing so, we're able to create highly practical solutions that deliver an unmatched ROI. We are locally owned and operated in Gilbert and value the strong relationships that we have in our community.
What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?
"After two years of interviewing payroll companies, we finally found a company that approaches and values customer service as we conduct business on a daily basis. Customer service seems to be an "art" that is dying, but Greenlink has given hope that there are still a few organizations operating under the tried and true method of providing excellent customer service and expertise in the payroll industry." - Shawn Young, JJ Safety LLC
How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?
Greenlink has found value in many ways. We've been able to forge strong relationships with business leaders in adjacent industries, as well as finding new avenues to help give back to the community. We've gained additional perspectives and insights into the challenges and opportunities that Gilbert businesses are navigating through, which has helped our business to grow and has helped us to deliver even more value to the businesses that we serve.
What motivates you professionally?
I am passionate about serving others. In my role, I get the opportunity to interact with leaders across a wide range of industries. I love when I am able to share knowledge and ideas that help businesses thrive. It's a virtuous cycle, when I can help a business become more successful, empowering them to employ more great people, and strengthening the community.
What do you consider to be your greatest success?
Being a Dad to the most amazing 9yr old son. He's smart, funny and kind to others.
Who do you look up to or admire?
Brene Brown is a thought leader that I admire. She has inspired me to lead from a place of courage, and to allow myself to be vulnerable. In doing so, I've been able to make stronger personal connections and I've learned to be authentic in situations where I may have otherwise felt uncomfortable.
When you're not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time?
I am a musician and I enjoy writing, recording and performing at venues across the valley. I also own a cabin in Prescott and enjoy hiking and spending time in nature. I also rent my cabin to others when not using it for time away with me and my son.
