EBX is a full-service health insurance brokerage. EBX specializes in Group Medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans. We also provide individual products such as Medicare, Long Term Care and Individual medical, dental and vision coverages. We work with business and individuals to strategically help to design and implements the best insurance programs for their employee benefit offerings or person individual options.

What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?

The EBX motto is "We GO Beyond Your Expectations". These are big shoes to fill, and this is a team standard we live by at EBX. We focus strongly on customer service making our clients feel important regardless of size. All of our clients are assigned a licensed Benefit Specialist that services their day to day needs throughout the year. Allowing the client to focus on their day-to-day operations and what they do best. We also, provide all our group clients with a customized benefit portal that is proprietary to EBX. Clients love our portals, and it is one of many things that sets our service apart from our competition.

How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?

We have been a Gilbert Chamber member for 15 years. Over the years our membership to the chamber has allowed us to be introduced to many wonderful companies and individuals. We have also made long lasting friendships and connections that has allowed our company to grow through these relationships. In addition to connecting and obtaining new clients through the Chamber, the Gilbert Chamber is forward thinking bringing seminars, trainings and various programs that add value to the membership. Programs such as Gilbert Leadership, WE and Leads Groups are all invaluable as a member. We are grateful for all the hard work the team at the Gilbert Chamber does and love being a Gilbert Chamber member.

What motivates you professionally?

Helping people. Insurance can be very overwhelming, and I love when I can help someone to understand their polices. I also really enjoy the challenge of helping businesses find and secure affordable healthcare for their employees. The insurance landscape changes annually with new plan designs, services and pricing. Finding the best plan for my clients can sometimes be a challenge but they do exist, and I love it when we can find plans better than what they had the prior year for lower cost at times.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?

Owning my own business and overcoming Healthcare Reform to persevere to the successful Agency I have created today.

Who do you look up to or admire?

Honestly, there are too many to list, but other business owners that I know. As a business owner your work is never done. I truly believe that it takes a village to run a business. So, I try to surround myself with other professionals that I can share and bounce ideas off of to keep me on track. I find that we all have the same challenges many times and it is very helpful and comforting knowing that sometimes the way you feel as a business owner is normal.

When you're not working, where in Gilbert do you spend your time?

My family and I are very social. So, we like to shop and eat out a lot. Many times, you can find us of at San Tan Mall, Gilbert Regional Park walking the lake or catching a bite a Sal's Pizzaria, Vitos, TC's Pub and Grill.
