What makes your business different, competitive, or unique?

The Lavender Room is a home based business. It is owned and operated by me, Alana Fougnies. My clients come back to the Lavender Room for the massage and touch therapy provided in my facials, personal skincare advice, undivided attention and personalized lash extension styles.

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said about your business?

My client told me she loved all the compliments she got on her lashes and how well they were done.

I've also been told how incredibly relaxing the massage portion of my signature facials are. Touch therapy is so importation for lymphatic drainage, facial sculpting, reducing anxiety and stress relief so this compliment warms my heart.

How has your business found value in your membership with the Gilbert Chamber?

I've loved taking advantage of my referral team on Tuesday mornings. It is such a great group of people who have helped me by giving me their business directly and even giving me advice as I grow my small business. That wisdom has significantly added value to my business.

What motivates you professionally?

I really value all aspect of health and wellness and this includes skincare, self-care, true self-confidence and mental health. I'm beyond happy that I actually believe in what I am providing for my clients.

What do you consider to be your greatest success?

Using a less than ideal situation(laid off because of Covid-19) to learn a new skill and build my business.

Who do you look up to or admire?

The behaviors of lots of people but no one person in particular.
