Learn about Transportation Needs in Gilbert

Transportation needs are growing in Gilbert.
Attend an upcoming open house to learn more.

In a recent survey of Gilbert residents, 67% said the town should focus on "improving roadway conditions" and a majority listed increased congestion as the number one challenge facing this community in the next 20 years.

Gilbert is hosting multiple open house events to educate residents on transportation needs and issues in the community. In June 2021, the Gilbert Town Council will vote on whether or not to propose a bond measure to help fund transportation and stormwater infrastructure in Gilbert.

The 2021 Transportation & Infrastructure Bond would fund projects to help ensure the safety of our citizens and ease daily commutes. The bond measure would also address the aging infrastructure of our community by reconstructing current roads, building new roads and transportation systems, and investing in transportation-related technology that will help shape the future of Gilbert.
