SUMMARY:RIBBON CUTTING: Facebook LIVE & In-Person - Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
DESCRIPTION:Join Mayor Brigette Peterson\, Lou Malnati's Pizzeria\, and the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce In-person or VIRTUALLY via FACEBOOK LIVE online for the Ribbon Cutting of this business.\n\n\n\nWatch for us to go LIVE at 3:00 pm on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/GilbertChamber\n\n\n\nWe love to support and celebrate the opening of new businesses in Gilbert and we welcome all members of the Gilbert community to attend our in-person ribbon cuttings! Ribbon cuttings are a celebration and support of the business and induction into the Chamber. Arrive 20 minutes before we go LIVE to introduce yourself to the business. The LIVE ceremony will begin right at the LIVE posted time. After each LIVE taping of a ribbon-cutting celebration\, please plan to stay an additional 20 to 30 minutes to mingle and network with the business and guests.\n\n\n\nAbout Lou Malnati's Pizzeria:\n\nConsidered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza\, Lou Malnati's is as rich in history as its pizza is in flavor. Lou Malnati got his start in the 1940's working in Chicago's first deep dish pizzeria. He took his pizza expertise to Lincolnwood\, a northern suburb of Chicago\, where he and his wife Jean opened the first Lou Malnati's Pizzeria on March 17\, 1971. Lou was known for his fun-loving character as well as making Chicago's best pizza. Loyal patrons lined the streets on opening day for a taste of his delicious deep dish creations. Lou always thought it was funny that an Italian should open a pizzeria in a Jewish neighborhood on an Irish holiday.\n\n\n\n\n\nCOVID-19 Update:\n\nThe health and safety of our community is a top priority. So that we can continue to offer in-person events\, we ask guests to review and adhere the following protocols. These protocols will remain in effect while our community is in Substantial or High Transmission: \n\n	All individuals\, including those who are fully vaccinated\, are encouraged to wear masks while inside the building\, especially when distancing of 6 or more feet cannot be accommodated.\n	If you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone who has COVID-19\; OR if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19\, such as fever\, chills\, cough\, difficulty breathing\, new loss of taste or smell\, or other symptoms\; OR if attending an in-person meeting would compromise the health of you or a family member\, please do not attend any meeting or event in-person. We will gladly accommodate you with a virtual attendance link\, if possible.\n\n As we navigate through this together\, you can rest assured that our team will work diligently to maintain high standards and quality programming to deliver a valuable experience to you\, even with these protocols in place. We will continue to monitor local\, state\, and federal guidance and will adjust these protocols as needed.
