He began his career with the GFRD in 1999 as a Firefighter Paramedic. During his time at the fire department\, he promoted through each of the ranks and served as a Captain for 12 years and an Assistant Fire Chief for 8 years. He also worked at the Casa Grande Fire Department as a Firefighter Paramedic before the GFRD and has nearly 32 years of public safety experience. \n\n\n\nDementia Friendly Gilbert Learn how the Town is working to make Gilbert a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.\n\n\n\nAbout the Presenter:\n\nCouncilmember Chuck Bongiovanni\, a long-time Gilbert resident and nationally recognized leader in senior care\, brings decades of expertise to the town's Dementia Friendly efforts. After earning degrees in Psychology\, Social Work\, and an MBA from ASU\, he founded Care Patrol in 1995\, growing it into a national franchise\, and later launched Majestic Residences\, now operating across the U.S. and in the Dominican Republic.
