Participants will build greater compassion and empathy and leave with tangible takeaways to advance DEI within their spheres of influence.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will hear from guest speaker\, Essen Otu\, a DEI leader and practitioner with a career spanning government\, healthcare\, non-profit and utility industries. \n\n \n\nEssen is the Manager of Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Salt River Project (SRP) where he is responsible for providing corporate leadership and direction for DEI and belonging strategies in support of business objectives and corporate goals. In this role\, Essen leads the DEI Department with SRP and is charged with applying the power of diversity\, inclusion and belonging to build a more equitable and sustainable future for customers\, employees\, and the community. \n\n \n\nEssen is a Class 26 graduate of Valley Leadership\, Phoenix Business Journal 40 Under 40 award recipient\, Virginia G.
