Expect More Arizona Announces New President & CEO

christine head shot emailFollowing a thorough search and interview process, the board of directors is pleased to announce the selection of Christine M. Thompson as Expect More Arizona's new president and CEO. Christine will assume the role on October 30. 
 
Christine brings a wealth of public policy and education experience to the position. Most recently, she has been leading Achieve60AZ, an independent alliance of organizations focused on increasing the number of Arizonans with post high school certificates and degrees. This work is well aligned with Expect More Arizona's strategic focus and part of the Arizona Education Progress Meter framework.
 
Previously, Christine served as executive director of the Arizona State Board of Education, associate vice president for government affairs for the Arizona Board of Regents, and director of government relations for the State Bar of Arizona. She holds a Juris Doctorate and a BA in political science, both from the University of Arizona. 
 
The board would like to thank the team at Expect More Arizona for seamlessly moving the organization's work forward during the search period. In addition, we would like to thank you for your ongoing partnership and support during this time.
 
Christine is eager to continue working with you to advance the Arizona Education Progress Meter goals and the shared vision that every child in Arizona receives excellent education every step of the way.
